Newchurch Robins Wraparound Care
At Newchurch we are very proud of and passionate about our school. Our warm family ethos flows throughout the school and this continues in Newchurch Robins Club. We believe that school-led wraparound care ensures the very best for our pupils as we are all part of one big team already, resulting in consistency in our high level of care and commitment to the children.
The club is run by experienced members of staff who are trained in safeguarding, first aid, food hygiene and fire safety. We are very fortunate in that several of the team also work as Teaching Assistants in our school so they know the children really well already.
Breakfast is served from 7.30am until 8.30am with a selection of cold breakfast items available, including a choice of cereals, brioche, fruit and yoghurts.A light snack is served during the afternoon session, designed to provide refreshment until a child has dinner at home. Options include wraps, fruit & veg, yoghurts, breadsticks & dips, crackers, crisps and biscuits. Water and squash are readily available.
Newchurch Robins is based in the school hall where there is plenty of space for children to spread out and choose an activity they enjoy. A wide selection of resources and activities are always on offer; on a typical day this will include crafts, board games and role play activities.
At Newchurch we are fortunate to have a wonderful outdoor space. Children are encouraged to spend supervised time outdoors where they can enjoy the fresh air and let off steam with friends.
We recognise that after a busy day in school, children sometimes just want a peaceful space to relax, so we have a quiet area with beanbags and reading books for those that want to chill. If children wish to do their homework there is a quiet area for them to complete it.
Any money made from Newchurch Robins is reinvested so we can continuously improve our provision. Our resources are updated regularly based on feedback and requests from the children.

We are currently looking to extend our provision to 6pm following discussions with parents.
Bookings are managed via the school office and can be paid for through ParentPay, taxfree childcare or childcare vouchers.
