Parent Responses to Enrichment

Newchurch Community Primary School

Enrichment Events Questionnaire

In school we have many events that parents are invited to, for example reading café, invite a guest, family BBQ, anti bullying week, Tia Chi, music events, singing events, productions and assemblies. The parent questionnaires and comments are always very positive and they enjoy being involved in school life and events.

Some of the feedback shows that the times of the events are often in the middle of the school day for Keyboard and Gospel events, which makes it difficult for parents to attend.  This is due to outside teachers coming to deliver the sessions and we need to fit in with their times. Therefore we ensure that there are other opportunities for the parents to see their child perform in morning sessions, afternoon and even evenings with other performances which are led by the school, for example; Young Voices, Christmas productions, Year 6 performances, end of each term performances for all year groups, Thank you service, Feast of Choirs. These events are very well supported.
